Track record in the highest quality ballistic protection equipment: the United Nations

Sovereign Global Solutions has been a provider of high quality helmets and bullet-proof ballistic protection vests since 2012. The United Nations and national armies providing troops to major UN peacekeeping operations (PKO) have the highest requirements in terms of quality and delivery of such ballistic equipment to protect blue helmet forces. Therefore, they have repeatedly entrusted Sovereign Global as a preferred supplier over the years.

Sovereign Global has developed its own brand ‘Armadillo’ for such products (logo above right), carefully designing each element produced, selecting the best components world-wide and having them assembled by skilled sub-contractors.

Sovereign Global was precisely selected to deliver these products because we guarantee the highest quality through a complete rigorous quality control process of careful component selection, bespoke design and skilful assembling. This is a much stronger guarantee than any direct order to an assembling factory, whichever the origin of the products.

Thus, Sovereign Global has delivered to UN PKO forces, since 2012:

  • 5 800 helmets, armour protection Level V
  • 5 800 vests, armour protection Level IV, 5 years life expectancy


All the above ballistic equipment has been extensively inspected by the UN during order and delivery and routinely after deployment: all strictly respect stringent UN quality controls following the international norms STANAG 2929 and MIL STD 662F.
