Equipment contract: 240 vehicles for Gabon and Congo

19/01/15 Sovereign Global places an order of more than 240 vehicles and rolling stock to the French company Sofema

The Sovereign Global group and its subsidiaries aim at supporting the French and European industry in every of its programmes.
In relation to the above policy we are pleased to announce the procurement of 245 vehicles and rolling stock to the French company Sofema SA as part of our preparation and equipment programmes for the Congolese and Gabonese contingents to the United Nations mission in Central African Republic (CAR).
They will be delivered in CAR by spring 2015 for the deployment of the contingents prepared by Sovereign Global France (SGF).

The Republic of Gabon and the Republic of Congo have signed on October 31st and December 12th 2014 respectively contracts trusting Sovereign Global with the preparation and the equipment of their contingents for the MINUSCA.

Sovereign Global France’s teams are already deployed in Libreville and Brazzaville to prepare for deployment one infantry battalion, one reserve battalion and one Formed Police Unit, totalling 1 340 peacekeepers to be deployed in CAR by Spring 2015.
